St Patrick's Day Walk 17 March 2010

St Patrick's Day Walk (organised jointly by Down District Council & Norman Ekin, Walks Coordinator on behalf of Lecale Ramblers).

Report - A highly successful walk in which approx 600 participants from all over Ireland and other countries had a very enjoyable day following a series of themed walks on the life of St Patrick.

Highlights: Exhausted dog rescued near Saul Church and returned to home
Lost boot in swamp rescued and returned to owner
Lots of people served with whiskey and other drinks courtesy of Down District Council
A lot of happy tired people or tired happy people at end of walk.
